At NBS Welfare Foundation, we deeply value every contribution and strive to use your donations effectively to support our charitable missions. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which donations may be refunded or cancelled.

Donations Are Non-Refundable

All donations made to NBS Welfare Foundation are voluntary, non-refundable, and irrevocable, except under specific circumstances (detailed below).

As a non-profit organization, donations are used immediately to support our projects and beneficiaries. Therefore, refunds are typically not possible once the donation is processed.

Exceptions — When a Refund May Be Considered

We may consider a refund request if:

  • The donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate transactions).
  • The donation amount was entered incorrectly due to a technical glitch.
    • There was unauthorized use of your payment card

    • To request a refund, you must notify us within 7 days of the donation date.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please send an email to:

Our team will verify the transaction and respond within 7 business days.

REFUND

No Refunds for Tax-Exempt Donations

If a donation receipt has already been issued and used for tax deduction purposes (e.g., 80G in India), we cannot issue a refund under legal and accounting compliance.

Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a monthly or recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time by:

  • Logging into your donor dashboard (if available), or
  • Sending a cancellation request to [insert email]

  • Cancellations will take effect from the next billing cycle.

Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe your card has been misused or fraudulently charged, we advise contacting us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We’re committed to resolving such issues promptly.
